Karnataka State Biofuel Development Board (KSBDB) has entered into Memorandum of Association (MOU) with several Agricultural Universities, Engineering Colleges and other educational institutions for the purpose of setting up Information and Demonstration Centre (I&D centre) to provide information for all the public, farmers, bio fuel cultivators, researchers and entrepreneurs in the field of bio fuels. The field of bio fuels covers providing information on different plant species, harvesting, marketing, processing, value addition and all related information on bio fuels. These Information centers eventually cover all activities of bio-diesel and bio-ethanol sector and serve as a role model for all others.
